A SILENT FROWN
It was released to be a bright beacon in a dark time. When the world was
recovering from pandemic despair, we had a world citizen become an example of
hope. Good ol' Charlie opened up his life story to show us that we can see through it all. And hobble with hope towards our future. Just like The Tramp.
THE BOOK
Released by Mr. Eugene Chaplin, Charlie Chaplin's son, on 16 April 2022 (the legend's 133rd birthday) at Chaplin’s World – the museum tied to the Foundation. It went on sale at the Chaplin’s World boutique store. Each book bearing Mr. Eugene's signature. Proceeds went to the Foundation initiatives for developing cultural events around Chaplin’s work, including workshops and film screenings for youngsters with limited access to pastime and world culture.
